"Customer concern is that washer produces loud bang, Customer advised cycle was initially set to whites Cycle, when he checked on unit after noise user interface showed selection knob set to whites and ui display indicator on normal Cycle and basket assembly in free spin unrestricted. Found heavily shredded drive belt, causing unit to produce noise during failure and resulting in basket spinning unrestricted. Also found failing ui , causing unit to intermittently indicate incorrect cycle. Needs new user interface and drive belt. Advised customer due to not being able to cycle test unit, passable further issue may arise after initial repair. Customer declined repair at this time.
