1. Definitions

Customer: The party, or a person acting on behalf of the party, that owns the property at the service address where repair service is performed.

Service address: The physical location where repair service is provided.

Paying party: The person or organization financially responsible for the repair.

2. Warranty scope

This repair and parts warranty applies only to qualifying repairs paid directly by the customer to Reliable Property Solutions LLC, doing business as RPS Appliance Repair. Coverage begins on the completed service date and requires payment in full.

When service is paid by a manufacturer, home warranty company, property manager, or another third party, contact that paying party for the warranty terms that apply. RPS does not extend or replace that party's warranty unless expressly stated in writing.

3. Coverage

  • Parts supplied and installed by RPS are warranted for one year from the completed service date against defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Labor is warranted for 90 days from the completed service date for the specific repair performed.
  • The related diagnosis is warranted for 30 days from the completed service date and applies to the condition diagnosed, not every later symptom or unrelated failure.
  • Customers with continuous, uninterrupted VIP membership receive lifetime warranty coverage on qualifying mechanical parts, including dryer heating elements, subject to the VIP terms.

For a valid claim, RPS may inspect the appliance and, at its option, reperform the covered labor, repair the covered work, or replace the defective covered part. This is the warranty remedy to the extent permitted by law.

4. Exclusions

  • Residential coverage applies to appliances used for ordinary household purposes.
  • Commercial-use coverage is limited to 90 days for parts, 90 days for labor, and 30 days for diagnostics.
  • Coverage is limited to the specific work performed and parts supplied by RPS. Unrelated components, new failures, preexisting conditions, and symptoms caused by another condition are not covered.
  • The warranty does not cover failures caused by misuse, neglect, improper operation, abuse, accident, unauthorized repair or alteration, improper installation by others, or conditions other than normal wear.
  • External conditions are not covered, including electrical or utility problems, water leaks or damage, drain or vent restrictions, environmental conditions, corrosion, contamination, or pest infestation.
  • Cosmetic conditions, routine maintenance, cleaning, consumable items, and customer-supplied parts are not covered unless expressly included on the paid invoice.
  • Coverage cannot require an unsafe repair or a part that is no longer reasonably available. RPS is not responsible for manufacturer discontinuation, shipping delays, or changes in replacement-part appearance.

5. Starting a warranty claim

Contact RPS Appliance Repair at 866-987-6335 during the applicable coverage period and allow RPS a reasonable opportunity to inspect the appliance before another company performs work. Proof of service and payment, the appliance model and serial number, and reasonable access to the appliance may be required.

If the claim is denied because the failure is not covered, the current diagnostic charge applies. That charge is waived if the customer approves the new repair, subject to the pricing disclosed for that visit.

6. Transferability

The warranty applies to the appliance identified by model and serial number. It is not limited to the original customer or service address and may transfer if the appliance moves.

7. Service-area limitation

Warranty service is available only within the active RPS Appliance Repair service area.

8. Costs and losses not covered

This warranty covers only the remedies expressly stated above. It does not cover or reimburse losses, expenses, or damages caused by an appliance failure, malfunction, leak, loss of use, delayed service, parts delay, unsuccessful repair, or recurrence of a problem. Excluded costs include food loss or spoilage, medicine loss or spoilage, replacement meals or ice, laundromat, wash-and-fold, or dry-cleaning costs, damage to clothing or other contents, appliance rental, replacement, removal, or installation costs, lodging, transportation, cleanup or remediation, increased utility costs, water damage or damage to floors, cabinets, walls, or other property caused by the appliance condition, lost wages, lost income or profits, business interruption, loss of data, and charges from another service provider.

Customers are responsible for protecting property and taking reasonable steps to reduce further loss when an appliance is not operating properly. RPS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages to the extent allowed by law. Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be limited.

9. Relationship to other terms

This warranty supplements the RPS terms of service and the applicable paid invoice. VIP lifetime-parts coverage is also subject to the VIP membership terms accepted at enrollment. If a written invoice expressly provides better coverage for a particular repair, the invoice controls for that repair.
