Privacy policy
Effective August 31, 2026This notice explains what information RPS Appliance Repair collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when you:
- check service coverage or request an appointment;
- ask our office to contact you;
- create or use the customer portal;
- purchase or manage a VIP membership;
- join our email list or request a coupon; or
- call, text, email, or otherwise communicate with RPS.
That information may include your name, service address, telephone number, email address, appliance details, service description, appointment preferences, access instructions, service history, and membership or transaction references.
Our systems also record limited technical and activity information, such as session identifiers, an encrypted or hashed form of an IP address, browser information, referring page, and the steps completed in a scheduling or account workflow. We use this information for security, troubleshooting, duplicate prevention, and service support.

Job applications
When you apply for a position, RPS uses the contact information, comments, and resume you submit to evaluate employment opportunities and communicate with you about your application. Resume files are sent privately to the RPS hiring team and are not published on the website.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, subject to identity verification and legal recordkeeping requirements. You may also ask questions about how information is used. If we deny a privacy request, you may reply to the decision and ask us to review it as an appeal.
Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. Opting out of marketing does not stop appointment, account, payment, or other service-related messages. For text messages, follow the instructions in the message or contact our office for help.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide service, maintain service and warranty history, administer memberships, meet tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our systems. Retention periods vary by record type and legal requirement.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to limit access and reduce unnecessary collection.
