Is a stove the same thing as a range?
Customers commonly use both names for a freestanding appliance that combines surface burners with an oven. This service covers eligible gas, electric, and dual-fuel ranges.
What should I do if I smell gas?
If you suspect an active gas leak, leave the area and contact the gas utility or emergency services from a safe location. Do not operate switches or the appliance.
Can you repair only the oven or one burner?
Yes. After diagnosis, the repair can be targeted to the failed system even when the rest of the range still operates.
