Cycle sequence
The lid or door signal, motor system, speed feedback, wiring, and controls are tested as the model requires. This is especially important when the basket will not reach spin speed or becomes unusually noisy.

What we diagnose
We find the cause before quoting the repair.
KitchenAid has not sold new washers in many years, but plenty are still in use and RPS continues to service them. The complete model number helps us identify the design, check current parts support, and prepare for the right diagnostic tests. The point where the cycle stops matters. We follow fill, wash, drain, and spin in order instead of treating the displayed code as a part number. We test the appliance before recommending a repair, so the quote is based on what actually failed.

Tell us what your appliance is doing.
RPS provides in-home diagnosis and repair for KitchenAid washers in Alba. Tell us whether the washer stops during fill, wash, drain, or spin, and include any displayed error code. A short, safely recorded video can help if the vibration or noise does not happen on every cycle. For a Alba appointment, have the full model number ready, then enter your ZIP code to confirm coverage and see current options.
Before your appointment
A few details can help us prepare.
Drain and spin
The reported stopping point is compared with live fill, wash, drain, and spin behavior. This is especially important when the washer fills but will not begin normal wash movement.
Lock, drive, and sensing
Pump operation, the water path, balance, suspension, and final spin response are evaluated together. This is especially important when the water remains in the tub after the cycle stops.
Before the visit: Photograph the complete model and serial label beneath the lid or around the door opening; the full number helps us identify the original platform and check parts availability.
