Temperature pattern
Freezer temperature is confirmed before the water supply, inlet path, ice maker, and dispenser are evaluated. This is especially important when the ice maker cycles slowly or receives no water.

What we diagnose
We find the cause before quoting the repair.
Maytag refrigerator symptoms should be traced through temperature, door sealing, airflow, defrost, and cooling performance. Ice maker trouble may be separate from the condition affecting stored food. Ice and water symptoms may begin with cabinet temperature, water supply, a valve, a frozen fill path, the ice-making sequence, or dispenser controls, so each stage must be separated. We test the appliance before recommending a repair, so the quote is based on what actually failed.

Tell us what your appliance is doing.
RPS provides in-home diagnosis and repair for Maytag refrigerators in Forney. If frost keeps returning, a photo of the frost pattern and the location where it forms can help explain the symptom. Listen for fan or compressor noise before the visit, but do not remove interior or rear panels. Use the full model number rather than the name printed on the front of the appliance when booking in Forney. Enter your ZIP code online to confirm coverage.
Before your appointment
A few details can help us prepare.
Airflow and defrost
We compare actual compartment temperatures with compressor, fan, sensor, and control response. This is especially important when the refrigerator runs for long periods without reaching temperature.
Ice and water sequence
The frost pattern and airflow help distinguish a defrost failure from a fan, vent, door, or cooling-system concern. This is especially important when the frost builds behind the freezer panel.
Before the visit: Look on an interior cabinet wall, ceiling, or door-frame area for the full model and serial label. Keep the doors closed as much as possible and note whether both sections or only one section is warming.
