Flow Sense warnings
The lint screen, connection, dryer airflow, and signs of restriction in the household exhaust path are considered.

LG dryer repair
If an LG dryer shows d80 or d90, stops heating, or leaves clothes damp, RPS checks airflow and appliance operation before quoting the repair.

What the symptom can mean
LG dryers monitor exhaust conditions, but an airflow code does not identify the exact location of a restriction. Long drying can also involve heat, incoming power, ignition, moisture sensing, drum movement, or controls. We evaluate the dryer connection and operation while distinguishing appliance service from household vent work.
How we narrow it down
The lint screen, connection, dryer airflow, and signs of restriction in the household exhaust path are considered.
The correct heating and safety system is tested for the exact dryer configuration.
Moisture sensing, load contact, airflow, heat, and controls are evaluated when automatic cycles end incorrectly.
Find the model number: Check around the door opening for the model and serial label. Tell us whether the dryer is gas or electric when requesting service.
Straight answers
They indicate that the dryer detected a substantial exhaust restriction. The connection behind the dryer and the household vent path may need attention, and the dryer should also be checked if heating or sensing remains abnormal.
Incoming power, electric heat components, gas ignition, airflow, safety devices, wiring, and controls are possible causes. The correct tests depend on whether the dryer is gas or electric.
The technician evaluates conditions affecting dryer performance and can identify signs of restricted venting. Full building-vent cleaning is separate from appliance repair and may require a dedicated vent-cleaning provider.
